SAV - The Energy and Vision Behind VERO
Sav is the driving force behind the VERO brand. Born in Sicily and raised in the world of hospitality, Sav built and scaled successful Italian food businesses in the UK, including G-Lite Gelato & Pizza in Worthing. Known for his charismatic Italian style and strong business instinct, Sav blends authentic tradition with sharp marketing, branding, and customer experience. His focus is simple but ambitious: create Italian concepts that people remember, talk about, and come back to.
WALTER - Experience, Consistency, and Hospitality DNA
Walter brings years of hands-on restaurant experience and leadership to VERO. Like Sav, he built his career in the UK hospitality scene, owning and operating multiple Italian restaurants under the Brio name in Worthing and Shoreham. Charismatic, people-focused, and deeply passionate about service, Walter is the backbone of day-to-day operations. He believes that great food must always be supported by warm hospitality, consistency, and attention to detail, the kind that turns first-time guests into loyal regulars.
FEDERICO - The Chef, the Roots, the Soul
Federico is the culinary heart of VERO. Born and raised in Sicily, his love for food started at home, cooking alongside his grandmother, where respect for ingredients, simplicity, and flavour came first. With years of professional kitchen experience, Federico brings true Italian techniques, traditional recipes, and uncompromising standards to every dish served at VERO. His philosophy is clear: fewer shortcuts, more soul.
